OCTLC History

Home / History

OCTLC was started by a group of Orange County Trial Lawyers who were dedicated to helping those in Need in Orange County. Like its sister organization to the North, Los Angeles Trial Lawyers Charities, OCTLC has a grand vision to make a big difference in people’s lives just like LATLC has done in Los Angeles County. See the LATLC Tribute Book as an example of the wonderful work done by that organization in Los Angeles County.

Tribute Book
  • History

Orange County Trial Lawyers Charities was just an idea in 2019, and by 2020 a small, but enthusiastic group of hard-working trial lawyers met and decided that making a difference in the community was worth dedicating their time and resources to. These lawyers generously donate time, search for organizations that need assistance and meet the organization’s mission to reach out and assist within the Orange County community. Our attorneys and members want to give back to the people of Orange County and consistently show up to do so. Since its small and simple roots in 2019, OCTLC has grown to more than 100 supporters, thanks in no small part to its sister organization the Los Angeles Trial Lawyers Charities (LATLC).

If you are interested in joining our efforts to help in the community, or if you are a charitable organization in search of financial assistance and a partner in the community, please reach out to us at [email protected]. We cannot wait to meet and work together.

  • Mission Statement

Orange County Trial Lawyers’ Charities (OCTLC) was founded to make a positive difference in the quality of life for people within the greater Orange County area, focusing on education, children, survivors of abuse, persons with disabilities, and homelessness.  We provide financial assistance and volunteer services to nonprofits making a difference in the Orange County community.

  • Goal

OCTLC’s goal is to unite our Orange County community to promote change and support for the most vulnerable and in need within our great county.  We partner with organizations throughout Orange County to support their incredible work through financial support and volunteer assistance.  Our goal is to work together to effect change in our community. We are a team of trial lawyers who want to do good both in the courtroom and in the community.

OCTLC continues to grow and thrive.  Once just an idea of expansion by the Los Angeles Trial Lawyers Charities (whose overwhelming success of 15 years of service and over $5 million in goods and services to the community), OCTLC is on its way to making an impact in the community. With goods and services to partner charities serving Orange County, we want to be there for both financial assistance and to provide “boots on the ground” and “hands on” help to those in need.

Justice in the Courtroom. Service in the Community.
